Today I took a hike on my own in the bush, through the hills of Perth if you will. I've always gone walking with someone else but today I truly got to experience hiking with my own thoughts and getting lost in the atmosphere of it all. The beginnings of a hiker

Three weeks at the gym jogging on the treadmill, hitting the rower, strengthening my upper body, cycling long distance - I needed a little something different. This weekend, we hit out at the Bibbulman Track, 30kms east of Perth. Not all of it, mind you...just a complete fraction of it's entire 1000kms stretch of distance, going from Kalamunda all the down to Albany.
